Overview

Juvenile Sex Offenders are the most neglected element of the sex offender population and yet they are one of the most important links to adult child molesters and rapists.  Appropriate education and training for those dealing with this population is vital but too often missing or incomplete.

As a Probation Officer who specialized in this field for many years, I developed a model that effectively addressed the many needs of the judicial system, the treatment providers, and the offender and his or her family. I have translated the model into a training manual that provides a step-by-step method of investigating and supervising this most interesting, challenging, and needy population.   The manual is suitable for both law enforcement and mental health providers, is easy to read and understand, and will facilitate the legal and treatment needs when processing cases. The manual particularly emphasizes the importance of building and maintaining working partnerships with Mental Health Treatment Providers and related agencies.

Manual

The 85-page manual covers the topics listed below and much more. I offer this publication for $15.00, which includes tax and mailing. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, please e-mail me for further information.
