Moved to Sacramento abt. 1910 with parents, brother Brad, sister Mary. Moved to San Francisco abt 1917.
Malcolm worked in most of the advertising agencies of the day in San Francisco. He was hired in the late thirties by Samuel F.B. Morse of Del Monte Porperties (Pebble Beach) to promote Monterey, California as the next state capital. Family lived in Carmel for several years from about 1938 through June of 1942.
Yachtsman; raced his all-mahogany varnished Dasher class sailboat, Baby Grand II, on SF Bay for many years. |
