"The Crossings series are images based on photographs that I have taken over the past several years in cemeteries throughout Europe. My interest in this subject began fifteen years ago in college where I studied Elizabeth Kubler Ross' theories on death and dying.
My current point of view in recent work focuses on existence as Alpha & Omega; day & night, heaven & earth, birth & death. Life is a doorway. It has an entrance and an exit."
