Saluting Etiquitte for boarding and departing U.S. Navy ships
Since many of our UDF missions are to the Naval Operational Base and
Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk all cadets should become familiar with the navy's tradition for boarding and debarking
a ship (saluting the Officer-of-the-Deck and saluting the flag during day-light hours).
