As owner and principal designer of Mercury Studios, Inc., an interior design and photography studio, I immersed myself in a mainly self taught world of precision optics and an explosion of digital technology.
This left me searching for a more rudimentary form of personal self expression. My continuing exploration forced me to slow down and see images around me in a different light.

This search has led me down many different avenues.

~ Polaroid film and it's many different abstractions.

~ Collecting vintage cameras for both the unique style of images they can create, and for the dissecting of usable parts.

~ Pinhole photography (This is where those dissected cameras get used.)

~ Gum Bichromate printing

~ Infrared photography

~ Intaglio Type / Photopolymer Gravure prints

~ The combination of alt. photo & digital technologies .

This creative process of discovery keeps me wanting to see something new everyday.
