Wharton Point overlooks Maquoit Bay and can be a good
place for ducks and shorebirds in fall and spring. The area is very tidal, so aim for higher tides for waterfowl and
an outgoing tide for shorebirds.
Directions: drive south on Maine Street in Brunswick. Where Maine Street forks take the right
fork - Maquoit Road which ends at Wharton Point.
