A dozen birders from southern and mid-coast Maine enjoyed a gorgeous morning at Hinckley Park. The highlight of the day was the presence of 6 - 8 BLACKBURNIAN Warblers, all males aptly called "Fire-throat."  Unfortunately, the SCARLET TANAGER flew through about 20 minutes before the walk began, not to be seen again.

Many thanks to Chad Dorsey for some great spotting and helping folks get "on" the bird. Thanks also to Ted Allen who met the Bath/Brunswick area birders and to Kirk Rogers who has made photos from the trip available at Seeking Warblers at Hinckley Park
