It's been almost a week since our Halloween ritual at Full Moon Circle. I'd like to thank each and every one of you who participated in it. I feel that we did a great job in honoring those who no longer reside in this world. I was also pleased at how many people were interested in working with the mirror we had in the middle of the alter that day. The interesting thing is the ones who were uneasy with doing this kind of work freely came to the mirror and opened themselves up to whatever visions the mirror had to offer. We had a great turn out that day, more than I expected. Keep in mind that most of the people who attend FMC regularly are only able to arrive at 3:45 so that only gives us an hour to actually perform the ritual. If I tend to be rushing things along its because I have a class at 4:45 and the teacher freaks out if your late.

I'd also like to thanks those of you who helped out with the chanting and singing during ritual. It seems that I'm not the only musician who attends FMC.

In the future I will post a sign out side the door to let people know that there's a ritual in progress when were in circle. There will also be a message on the main page of FMC's website announcing ritual days and times in the future. Having someone guard the door during ritual doesn't seem to be enough anymore so hopefully this will act as a remedy to that problem. I'm however glad I let the two visitors who came to FMC meeting that day in. I had a feeling that The Goddess would not like it if I turned them away and in retrospect I'm glad we let them in.

Because of the traffic my website and my myspace profile gets I never know who will be stopping by. FMC's website is linked to websites all around the world and were starting to get hits in the thousands on a weekly basis. So you can expect new people popping in every now and then but hopefully not during circle.

In case you're wondering Full Moon Circle will be doing a Yule ritual as well. I will be announcing the Yule ritual date soon. Also FMC members who wish to give a presentation during one of our weekly meetings are urged to attend our next Tuesday meeting so that we can schedule a time for you. We will also be discussing satellite membership to FMC for those of you who are not able to attend FMC's regular meetings. You wouldn't believe all the letters I receive on a regular basis from people wanting to attend FMC but are not able to because of the time.

I'd like to personally give the middle finger to the person who snuck into our old office and stole our radio. That radio was going to be used for rituals and as a teaching aid during FMC's meetings but since I no longer have it I will have to put that on hold until I'm able to buy another one.

For those of you who came to our informal meeting last Monday you need to know that we were not able to move into the office that day. For some reason they moved the day to Thursday. I wasn't on campus that day so I wasn't able to move into the new office space. I will however be on campus Monday so for those of you who wish to help me move I'll meet you on the third floor of the Student Center Building out side our old office. I'll be there at 11:45 sharp but if you happen to arrive late you may be able to catch me moving if you go to the seventh floor.

Those of you who know me personally know that I celebrate Halloween 365 days a year. So for myself Halloween is nearly identical to the other days in my life. The only difference for myself is I get to see everyday people sharing my interest in the nocturnal. Most of the Witches I've talked to believe that during Halloween (or Samhain to be more specific) the veil between the worlds are the thinnest but for some of us who freely enter into the Netherworld regularly the veil is illusionary. Its always thin and we always have access to it but for some it is easier to do so during Samhain.
