Student Organization Day

This was the first time in years that Full Moon Circle wasn't able to participate during Student Organization Day but I think I did the right thing by not having FMC attend. I personally didn't like the idea of leaving my friends alone at our table while I was off doing other things. It was a bit chilly yesterday so I can at least be thankful that I didn't have to sit out in the cold and freeze for four hours.

There's other ways to promote FMC aside from Student Organization day so I will explore those options. The most important thing for me is to bring people to this group who will contribute to it in a productive way. The last thing I want is to just let anyone attend. This has proven to be counter-productive on many levels. The old army slogan fits well here, "were looking for a few good men (and woman)" Unlike the Xians we don't go around trying to find just anybody to join, I consider that to be nothing but a waste of my time because individuals who don't fit in end up dropping out anyway. It's all about quality and less about quantity.

It's only a matter of time before The South End contacts us again for an interview (The south End is WSU's newspaper). We seem to get real popular around Halloween time for obvious reasons of course. Since I'm public about my religious beliefs I tend to attract a lot of Xians who go out of their way to try and convert me. I know for a fact that some of these individuals read my blogs on a regular basis thats why I have my myspace blog set so that I will have to approve all the messages that people leave. Well Xians there is one thing that I do however accept and that's those little Xian tracks, you know the ones I'm talking about right? The little tracks with the cartoons on them that tell stories about what will supposedly happen to you if you smoke, drink, look at porno, or god forbid start to dabble in the occult and join Full Moon Circle. I love those tracks not because I believe them but because I think there cute. I actually have a collection of them at my house. I do think that they have some artistic value to them even though I consider their message to be stupid. So Xians if you're on the campus of WSU and want to leave them in my mail box (box 46 in The Student Center Building) feel free to do so but keep in mind that any other Xian mail I receive gets thrown away.
