What's Merlin been up to???
Well
for starters I'm back in school but this semester is going to be an easy one because I'm only taking one class. This will
give me an opportunity to catch up on some of those nasty little bills that I have. Bills are like roaches if you don't take
care of the problem they will start to multiply.
I went and saw the new movie The Wicker Man and yes I was disappointed.
The director didn't add any of the authentic Pagan music in the movie, which was a big mistake. The Wicker Man is a cult classic
and trying to remake it so that its more mainstream only diminishes it. If you watch the movie and do not associate it with
the original movie its not that bad but I think most of you who read this blog have seen the original and in all honesty this
movie doesn't hold a candle to the original. Don't get me wrong Nicholas Cage is an excellent actor and he did a wonderful
performance in the movie but the movie as a whole didn't have the charm the original Wicker Man did.
In other news
I spent Sunday and Monday at The Renaissance Festival here in Michigan and had a blast. I dought if I'll be able to go back
this year unless I get a Saturday or Sunday off from work but at least I can say that I didn't blow the opportunities I had
to go.
As far as my magical life is concerned, I will be writing a Halloween ritual for Full Moon Circle and I might
be performing that ritual for my coven as well. Halloween is my favorite time of year. Itâs the only holiday I can say that
I truly enjoy. I can't stand X-Mass; Non Xian's should not have to put up with all the crap that holiday entails. I celebrate
the Winter Solstice instead.
