I will be recording next weeks Full Moon Circle's meeting for my up and coming radio show. The first show will be a general discussion about Witchcraft and the occult. I want to focus on campus life here at WSU so I will be asking members to give there impressions on what its like being a Witch or a Pagan here at WSU. I believe that most of our members are public about there beliefs in regards to The Craft but if you do not wish to participate in this discussion its understandable. I will not be posting the first show on line until the semester break. I want to get finals out of the way before I start adding shows to the website. Over semester break if you have any experiences or stories you feel are relevant to the radio show feel free to contact me so we can get together and do an interview.

My love for Alternative Media

I have always been a fan of late night radio shows and tv shows ever since I was a child. The ones I most enjoyed were the ones that were not mainstream. It started when I was a kid back in the 70's when The Ghoul use to come on late night television here in Michigan. I remember staying up till 1:00am in the morning watching b-movies that he used to host every saturday night. In the early eighties there was a very popular program on KISS FM called Psychically Speaking with Marcello Galluppi, this was my first introduction to the mystical and the magical. Although the radio show tended to be a little too NEW AGE for my taste I did learn a lot by listening to the weekly broadcast. Marcello Galluppi was and still is a Master Astrologer and I actually had him do my astrological chart awhile back. Then there was Night Call with Peter Werbe, the show is mostly political in nature but every now and then (usually around Halloween time) he would have interviews with local Pagans and witches within the Michigan area.

When I discovered Mtv back in the eighties my eyes were glued Head Bangers Ball, and 120 minutes, both of these shows aired late night on Mtv and I couldn't get enough of it. And yes before you ask I do listen and watch Howard Stern on occasion also.

So yes I'm a bit of a late night media geek but this is a GOOD THING because with the internet you can create your own space and you don't have to worry about spending huge amounts of money to do it. I know that this project will take a while for me to set up properly but I think it will be a labor of love and I don't feel that I have anything to lose. So as Lemmy from Motorhead would say "if you have a good idea, run it up the flag poll and see if anyone salutes."
