PILOTSMercy Flight is constantly seeking qualified pilots and aircraft owners willing to volunteer their services. Listed below are the qualifications volunteer pilots must have in order to fly Mercy Flight missions. All Pilots Appropriate pilot certificate Current medical certificate Instrument rated and IFR current as specified in FAR 61 Minimum 600 hours of logged flight experience 100 hours of instrument time (no more than 25 in a simulator) 50 hours in type 25 hours of nighttime
