The Oil Lamp Restaurant is a cafeteria serving country cooking.
It has been in Perry since 1996, but moved to a new location in the
summer of 2009. New hours were added as well, so evening meals are
now an option. It is as a good place for family dining and is an
easy stop off I-75. The Oil Lamp is also close to the Georgia
National Fairgrounds & Agricenter.
There are usually at least three entrees that may include shredded
roast beef, fried chicken, meat loaf, shredded ham, turkey, or fried
fish. At the start of the cafeteria line, a salad bar is an menu
option. Desserts include a variety of homemade pies and sometimes
cake.
Directions from I-75, exit 135: go east for 0.2 miles and then turn
left on General Courtney Hodges Blvd. Go 0.3 miles and the Oil Lamp
will be on the left (north) side.
