Kathleen "Kate" Duncan, 51, a freelance publicist and book editor,
died July 13, 2007 at 6:25 pm in Burbank, California after a bout with
cancer.
Born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Duncan worked in the advertising and graphic arts professions before realizing her lifelong goal of moving to Southern California, in 2005. A former community theatre actor, director and playwright, she was also an avid photographer. Duncan contributed her time and skills to several volunteer organizations over the years, supporting U.S. military service people and veterans, women's rights, and animal welfare. As Kate touched so many lives across our country and the world, we want to give the opportunity to all her global friends to honor, remember and celebrate her life.
