Le
Petit Prince opened in Birmingham over
25 years ago by Marcel and Yvette Didierjean. The owners are assisted by their two talented sons, Cyrille and Gregory.
The entire family have dedicated themselves to the masterful art of the traditional french patisserie and have succeeded in
tantalizing the tastebuds of the lucky people who live close to their Birmingham shop.
The Detroit
Free Press deemed their hand-painted chocolate Easter bunnies the very best (Click on the Rooster
to see samples), and I have personally tasted a variety of their creations, my favorite being the meringues filled
with slivered almonds or chocolate.
If you
seek chocolate, you need search no further than Le Petit Prince where their Christmas Santas,
and Halloween ghosts and pumpkins will satisfy if not overwhlem you.
There
is a heaven on Earth: you can find it inside the Didierjean's shop.
