Life of Riley

A barbershop quartet...

The Life of Riley is named after our lead Jim Riley.   Jim's enthusiasm for his new found quartet was like an evangelist at a tent revival in the Deep South!  (Do I hear an Amen?!)  Everything to copying music (legally of course!), writing tags, finding music; he was like a man possessed!  His newfound zeal spread to the rest of the quartet and it seemed to take on a LIFE OF IT'S OWN!  Or in this case The Life of Riley.  Jim is recently retired from Miami East school district and is currently working as an Education Management Information Coordinator for Troy City Schools.  Jim and wife Deanna (who also recently retired from City of Troy Schools) live in Troy

The Life of Riley is comprised of three of the members of the quartet formerly known as the Talk of the Town.  The guy with the good tan is our baritone, Mark Eickhoff.  Mark works for Evergreen Turf and Landscaping in Troy and has plenty of opportunity to work on his tan.   Mark lives in Tipp City with his wife Carol, daughter Jessica, son Scott and dog Cody.

John Gearhardt sings Bass (Small Mouth or Large Mouth, you pick!).  John and his wife Karen live near Covington and John is the Owner/Operator and chief bottle washer of Covington Plumbing.  John has always been an active member of the Melody Men Chorus and is currently an Area Counselor in the Johnny Appleseed District with the Barbershop Harmony Society.

The tall guy in the quartet is our tenor Bob Moore.  He's really not that tall as much as the remaining guys are short!   During the day he works somewhere in the state government making sure that people have safe water to drink.    Bob lives in Ludlow Falls with his wife Laura, twins Maggie and Ryan and their dog Murphy
