Join Melanie for a one day workshop as she shares her techniques on painting landscapes with a palette knife. Students will work from their personal photos learning how to see landscapes in a new, more colorful light.

Join Melanie in a weekly class for six weeks as she shares her techniques on working with acrylics. Students will also learn helpful palette knife techniques and how to see painting subjects in a new, more colorful light.

Melanie is truly an instructor in that she has the ability to work on a demonstration painting and at the same time explain what she is doing and why she is doing it! She has a wonderful sense of color and shares her knowledge to help her students recognize all of the subtle range of hues and values and how they work together. Composition is another area in which Melanie shares her mastery of the subject. Her workshops are well organized and she creates an encouraging atmosphere.
