MED-TOX specializes in all aspects of occupational health especially
as it relates to public safety jobs (police officers, firefighters, bus
drivers, etc.). MED-TOX does not perform medical examinations. Rather,
we develop and evaluate programs for business and local government. MED-TOX has been a leader in the field of job-related medical guidelines
for over a decade. Medical guidelines are used by occupational medicine
physicians when considering the placement of persons with disabilities
into physically demanding jobs. Such decisions must be based on the actual
requirements of the specific job for which the person is being considered.
Medical guidelines assist physician examiners by relating occupational
disease states to the physical demands of actual job tasks identified in

including: Among our primary products are the development and validation of physical
ability tests for selection purposes. These tests may be designed to simulate
critical and physically demanding job tasks. The tests may also be designed
to measure physical attributes deemed necessary for job performance. MED-TOX
