In observance of DeMolay Devotional Day, the Chapter attended
worship services at First United Methodist Church in downtown Houston. Following a great service the Chapter members
joined in fellowship at the Golden Coral for an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch. Interestingly, the members must have confused
part of the message of the sermon concerning fasting. From everyone's approach at lunch, they must have thought the
pastor encouraged fast eating instead of fasting.
Following the lunch, the Chapter held a practice to prepare
for the upcoming Frank Marshall Championship Tournament.
While the practice was going on at the Scottish Rite, Dad
Phillipus was presented a donation to the Chapter from Mrs. Carole Mather on behalf of South Houston Chapter #915, Order of
the Eastern Star. The Eastern Star wanted to thank the Chapter for assistance during their dinner last fall. Our
thanks to the ladies of the Eastern Star Chapter for their kind expression of support.
