Toy Story (95)

11/12/96

I'm aware that I'm the last person on the block to see this one. Everything I heard was true. It's got to be the funnest movie I've seen in a long time. It's smart and funny and most of all, highly creative. What I like most, I think, was that the toys were the same ones I grew up with. Ninendo wasn't mentioned, but Battleship was. There were tinker toys, operation, a slinky dog, and the most realistic army men I've ever seen. The army men marched with their feet connected and they all had scraps of plastic stuck on them, because that's exactly how they came. I must have smiled for the entire 81 minutes. You gotta see this.
