John Cusack is our best young actor. He tries his damnest but this movie can't decide if it's a comedy or a drama. It seems to switch back and forth, even in mid-scene. When Cusack and Driver are together there is definitely chemistry, but even the way she acts, I'm not sure if she's sharp and funny, or a little wacky in the head. John's sister Joan plays his assistant and she's funny as always. Also, one of the funniest people alive, Jeremy Piven plays his high school bud.John Cusack Minnie Driver
