I never saw the original so I don't know what I'm missing. Isabelle Adjani is arguably one of the five most beautiful women on the planet. That was reason enough for me to watch (plus I was a guest in someone's home and they rented it). Adjani and Stone (who's merely attractive next to Adjani) plan to kill Adjani's dickhead husband played by Chazz Palminteri. They lose the body, then wonder if he's still alive. Kathy Bates is wasted as an investigator. I'd watch Adjani read the phone book, so it wasn't excruciating or anything.
