IDPA competition has leveled the playing field for action shooters with respect to equipment and guns while giving every competitive action shooter the chance to develop his or her skills. IDPA is a great place to start for shooters who are new to action shooting. Our IDPA club is named the Alabama Christian Shooters Club (ACSC). Our IDPA matches are held at the Moss Branch range at 9:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. We invite anyone who is interested to come shoot with us. Match registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with a short devotional immediately before the match begins. Anyone needing further information concerning our IDPA matches, or IDPA in general, is encouraged to contact either the ACSC President, Ray Calhoun via email raynstef@bellsouth.net or telephone (256) 441-5305, or the ASCS Vice-President, Steve Gaines via email gainercop@aol.com or telephone (256) 591-1329.
