Laughridges/Lockridges of Burke and McDowell Counties: The 2004 reunion of the Laughridges/Lockridges of Burke and McDowell Counties, NC, will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Dysartville on September 12, 2004. The meeting room in the church will open at 11 AM, with lunch to be served at 12:30 PM. Please bring a covered dish and tea or soft drinks, or just show up. There always is plenty of food. Please bring family, old pictures, and family history to share. rinity United Methodist Church is located on Trinity Church Loop, off NC 226 about ten miles south of Marion. It may also be reached from US 64 between Morganton and Rutherfordton by turning onto NC 226 and travel about three miles northwest, toward Marion.
