According to death certificate records, William H. McAndrews Sr. was born in Pa. and married Mary Harvey, who was also
born in Pa. Their son, William H. McAndrews Jr., was born in 1871 in Scranton, Pa.

The son, William H. McAndrews Jr., moved to Youngstown, Oh., around 1886 and became a house painter. He married Lucy
E. Fairbanks who was born in England. They had the following children: William McAndrews, 1894; Douglas or Charles McAndrews,
1895; Arthur McAndrews, 1897; Grace Forshey, 1899; George McAndrews, 1900; Ethel McAndrews, 1902; Harriett Pearson, 1907;
and David McAndrews, 1912. These dates could be off by a year since they were derived from census records.
