7/13/04 Show Review from Bono's, Lisle, Illinois:

Problem Child took the stage with reckless abandon around 10pm and with Uncle Mike leading the way proceeded to rock the house in a rock and roll spectacle not seen in many a moon.

10/23/04 Tommy's Place, Blue Island, Illinois Show Review:

THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!  Problem Child took the stage around 9:30 with a blistering version of Hell Aint a Bad Place to Be and never looked back..  Notable show highlights included Sin City, Bad Boy Boogie, as well as, the encore version of Live Wire.  Rock and Roll never sounded better and many patrons were clamoring for our next gig date (details forthcoming soon).  The bar owners were so impressed that they have asked us back.  Details are still being worked out but rest assured Tommy's Place is one cool rock and roll venue and we look forward to playing there again very soon!!

11/3/04 Pumpkin Studios, Orland Park, Illinois:

The band went in to the studio and cut their new demo choosing Pumpkin Studios based on their reputation of having worked with such notable bands as Styx and REO Speedwagon.  It was great working with a professional such as Gary Loizzo and we'd like to thank Gary for his time and effort in making our studio session one hell of a good time.  Rest assured Gary WE WILL BE BACK!!!

12/16/04  Windsors, Berwyn, Illinois Show Review:

Problem Child went out and did a quick holiday "micro-set" starting out with the infamous "Sin City" and a few other band favorites as well.  Crowd was great and the band was in a Rockin Mood.

January 15th  The Scoreboard, Bridgeview, Illinois Show Review:

Although the outside temperature was below zero, Problem Child was hot and kept the crowd heated up.  Searing versions of Let There be Rock and Rocker kept our fans wanting more.  A great show in a good room.  The band's looking forward to playing here in the summer on their outdoor (very cool) stage.  Thanks Joey!!!

January 29th - Fifty North, Streamwood, Illinois Show Review:

A VERY COOL PLACE to play.  Although the evening was plagued by sound system problems - Problem Child played their collective hearts out for those fans who made the trek to the NW burbs.  A special thanks to Fonograph who opened the show for their patience and understanding with regards to the sound issues.  Problem Child capped off the evening with Let There Be Rock and left the fans wanting more.  Problem Child also wishes thank Kurt (of Fifty North) for his patience and understanding with regards to the technical issues of the evening.  We hope to be back into this club in the very near future (without the sound problems!!!).

February 12th -  Buddys, Franklin Park, Illinois Show Review:

Nice Club - The Boys had the joint rockin' all thru the night.  Took the stage around 11 pm and never looked back.  The band would like too thank Steve and the Jimmy Hendrix Experience for getting the crowd warmed up for us.  A great opening band and a great show all the way around.  Thanks Buddys!!!!

February 26th - Escape Club - Fox River Grove Show Review:

Took a while to get to but was well worth the drive.  Opening band was 'Full Throttle' (really good band) who warmed up the crowd for the boys.  By 10:45 pm the crowd was getting 'ansy' (can I say that here??)  so Problem Child took the stage and really got the crowd rockin'.  From the first notes of their opening tune to the very last note of 'Let There Be Rock' - the joint was hopping, the band on fire, and all had a great time.  A nice stage in a great club (good sight lines).  Thanks to the 'haus' sound engineeer and to the staff at Escape for making this a night to remember!!!

Saturday, March 12th - The Edge - Oak Forest, Illinois Show Review:

LOCAL BOYS COME HOME!! - Problem Child came home to their neck of the woods and delivered one hell of a grand performance.  Crowd pleasers included the favorites "Riff Raff" and Down Payment Blues".  The crowd came to see a rock and roll show and that's exactly what they got - Raw Energy Rock and Roll played the way it was meant to be.  Opening for Problem Child was the band "DEFIANT" - They rocked!!!!!! (and will be opening for Problem Child on 4/23/05 at All Stars in Frankfort, Illinois) - Be sure and check these dudes out - you won't be disappointed. Special thanks to Carl, KC Audio and his staff for taking care of the sound system for us.  These guys are a pleasure to work with!!!  (stage lighting by MLH Electrolite - thanks Paul!!)  - All in all - A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR ALL!!!  - The only question remaining is the identity of the girl who kept trying to sing with Problem Child on stage ??  (the crowd thought perhaps she was one of the band's groupies (or is that gropies??)

Saturday, March 26th - Chicago Loop - Streamwood - Show Review:

A very nice club with great site lines and a very cool staff make this club worth checking out.  Opening for Problem Child was the band Bloodshot (old UFO, Montrose tunes and the like) - They sounded really good, but the buzz from the crowd was the eagerly awaited start of Problem Child's show.  The boys didn't disapoint taking the stage around 10:30 pm and delivering a sizzling rock and roll show that had the crowd on their feet and rocking all through the evening.

Prior to heading over to the club for set-up, Problem Child was in Crystal Lake, Illinois (corn fields everywhere!!)  filming their (soon to be released) video.  A very cool set-up (nothing beats a double row of Marshall stacks on either side of the stage!!).  Special thanks to Mark and the crew at STR for allowing us the opportunity to strut our stuff on camera.  All in all a great Saturday.

Saturday, April 9th Sportstime, Bridgeview, Illinois Show Review:

Excellent Club - East Stage Access - Warming up for Problem Child was the ZZ Top Band 'Eliminator' - Not only did these guys look like the Texas Trio but these guys really rocked and really got the crowd pumped and primed for the Australian/Chicago Boys..  (Thanks Eliminator!!) Problem Child took the stage by storm around Midnite and nver once looked baaaaack.  The crowd was cheering (Angus!! Angus!!) and Problem Child just keeps sounding better and better.  Was great seeing all our fans (including Mr and Mrs Joey G and a couple of fans who hadn't seen us in over a year).

** Side note - Yesterday was Sunday - typically a laid back day off for rock musicians - NOT FOR PROBLEM CHILD - Sunday afternoon found our boys doing 2 TV interviews for CAN-TV / Expose TV  - A pretty cool set-up re: the tv studio conveniently located next to Greek Town (a shame we didn't have time to stop, scope out the crowd scene (twas Greek Independence day ya know) and take in an outdoor cafe...... (maybe next time!!)

Friday, April 22nd - EJ Rileys, Lombard, Illinois Show Review:

A cool place (a lot of great looking women)  and a great setting for Problem Child to strut their collective musical "stuff".  Opening for Problem Child was the band - 'Pandemonium' who played their collective hearts out and got the crowd ready for Problem Child. Pandemonium is definitely worth checking out if ya get the chance.  A sold performance by Problem Child, who began their show around midnite, kept the crowd on their feet the entire show.  Everyone had a great time and we, in Problem Child look forward to our next gig there.

Saturday, April 23rd, All-Stars, Frankfort, Illinois Show Review:

Cherokee Gypsy opened for Problem Child and did a solid job of prepping the crowd for Problem Child.  Midnite saw Problem Child take the stage and from the show start never looked back.  A lot of die-hard Bon Scott / ACDC fans in the crowd kept chanting "Angus Angus" which just seemed to stoke the red hot flames of rock and roll of lead guitarist Steve Zielinski.  Although a smaller club by Problem Child's standards, the club made for an intimate setting in which to conclude this portion of our tri-state tour.  Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Frankfort, Illinois area, All-Stars is a pretty cool club.

Saturday, September 24th, Woodstock-Katrina Benefit Show Review:

Although the weather was damp and the crowd lighter than anticipated - The boys closed out a great benefit with class and style.  Taking the stage around midnite with a blistering version of Riff Raff and closing the show with Whole Lotta Rosie, the crowd roared it's approval (dancing and moshing were also noticed and appreciated).  This stage set-up is very cool (one of the nicest outdoor stages this player's been on in a long time), and the stage personnel were a pleasure to deal with also (*thanks Debbie!!).  If you get a chance to check this place out - do so as you won't be disappointed.  Problem Child wishes to thank Sam Leach and American English, their stage manager,  as well as, the rest of the bands who strutted thir collectice "stuff" for a great cause, and we, in Problem Child, look forward to playing  this venue again soon.

Saturday, October 22nd, The Edge Show Review:

Although the crowd was sparse for this show (who'd a thought the Sox would be in the in the World Series??) - Problem Child delivered a solid performance for those fans who ventured out after the "big game".  The band would like to thank "Wicked Liquid" for priming the crowd for us.  A good night for the band...

Saturday, October 29th, Sportstime, Birdgeview, Illinois Show Review:

A MUSICALLY SUPERB EVENING FOR PROBLEM CHILD who started their show around 11:30pm.  Opening for the band was WICKED LIQUID who put the crowd in a rock and roll mood with a solid performance (especially loved Motorhead's 'Ace of Spades').  A fun evening for all and PROBLEM CHILD would like to take this opportunity to thank Ted and his crew at Sportstime for allowing us the opportunity to perform at this venue - We DO look forward to playing here again SOON.  Concert lighting was provided by MLH Electrolite which made the show all that much more spectacular.    A Halloween Rock and Roll Show to remember for all.

Friday, November 4th, Zambonies Show Review:

A ROCK AND ROLL MASTERPIECE FROM THE BAND WHO PLAYED TO A PACKED HOUSE.  (a GREAT Bar and a great location!!!).  The crowd was in the mood to rock and Problem Child didn't disappoint.  From the very first notes of Live Wire to the encore of Highway to Hell, the band rocked their collective hearts out and never looked back.  A great time was had by the band who'd like to thank the venue owner for treating us well.  A great bar full of attractive college women.  We, in Problem Child, sincerely look forward to visiting this venue again in the future.

Friday, December 2nd, Penny Road Pub Show Review:

A late show (midnight) for Problem Child who rocked the haus and kept the crowd wanting more.  From the first notes to the last encore, the band was focused and sharp and the crowd was really into singing along with Uncle Mike..  A great rock  club in the country.  Problem Child looks forward to playing here again soon.

Thursday, December 8th with Jonathon Brandmeier in The Loop's Love Dart Lounge Review:

In the studio with Johnny B for his MAKE-A-WISH "Jon-A-Thon" was A BLAST.  Braving the snowstorm that pelted us, Problem Child performed Live in Johnny B's Love Dart Lounge and proceeded to blow the Loop Staffers away.  JB was awesome to work with and the band would also like to thank Guy, Vince, and John for their help in making this truly a night to remember.  We, in Problem Child, look forward to working with this professional (yet crazy) cast of characters again soon.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Johnny B and The Loop ROCK!!!!!

Friday, January 13th, Synergy, West Chicago, Show Review:

An awesome club to play in and Problem Child didn't disappoint.  Starting around 10:15pm and never looking back, the band showed their collective talent to a loud crowd and only seemed to get the crowd more incited.  From the opening notes of Live Wire to the show conclusion, Problem Child had the crowd on their feet.  Show highlights included their new live version of High Voltage and Sin City.  The band wishes to thank Monty and the staff at Synergy for taking good care of us.  We defintiely look forward to coming back to this club for another show.  Those rock and roll fans in the western 'burbs really know how to rock!!

Saturday, January 28th, HotShots, Warrenville, Illinois Show Review:

A solid evening for the boys.  Starting their set 1 hour earlier than originally thought due to the crowd clamoring for 'Bon and the Boys' the boys ripped it up musically and left the crowd wanting more.  A really cool club easily accessable from all major roads. The Western Burbs really know how to rock!!  We will definitely be back here soon.  To the person who threw the inflatable sheep onto the stage - we got the hint and did indeed play - 'dirty deeds - done with sheep' as originally suggested by Johnny Brandmeier on his show during our recent lovedart lounge radio set.  Rock on - next show's this Friday (February 3rd)  at Bourbon Street (1 of the southside's premiere rock venues with a start time of around 9:30pm.  See ya there -   the band

Friday, February 3rd - Bourbon Street Show Review:

W-O-W - What a club - GREAT STAGE, PACKED HAUS, and A GREAT STAFF WHO KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A BAND.  The (10 people deep) crowd was pumped and the boys delivered the goods.  A great solid show leaving the crowd wanting more.  Thanks to Bourbon Street for a memorable evening and we look forward to appearing here again soon.  Parking's a little "iffy" as we had to park a ways away (I thought twas the next county!!!) - although the crowd, the ambiance of the club, and the stage set-up more than made up for it.  THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO REALLY KNOWS HOW TO ROCK!!

Saturday, February 11th, Sportstime, Bridgeview, Ill.. Show Review:

A fully packed haus with standing room only greeted the boys after our opening band finsished warming up the crowd around 11pm (thanks Scottie!!) and then the rock and roll mayhem began.  Memorable moments included the live versions of High Voltage and Get it Hot.  Lotsa cute women crowded the stage and sang along with the band and danced the night away.  The band was scheduled to stop playing around 1:30am but the crowd wanting more kept the band on stage long after their scheduled end time.  A GREAT SHOW and venue.  Problem Child wishes to thank Ted and the Sportstime staff for their professionalism and patience in making this a solid evening for all.  WE WILL BE BACK!!

Friday, April 7th, Red Ivy/Jonathon Brandmeier WLUP Remote Review:

W-O-W!!  What a crowd and what a great time had by Problem Child performing as Johnny B's house band for his first live radio remote broadcast since his return to Chicago. The joint was packed and JB was CRAZY AS EVER!!.  Thanks to WLUP/97.9fm., Brandy, Guy and the staff at Red Ivy (and also the Palermo Brothers - Great Pizza!!) for making us feel right at home.  Also a lot of fun playing with the 10 year old versions of Angus and Bon (way to go kids) supporting 'Johnny's School of Rock'.  Lotsa special guests stopped by, hello Dutchie Carey, Ronnie Woo Woo Wickers and Bruce Wolf.  We definitely look forward to working with WLUP again in the near future.   The North Side of Chicago really knows how to rock and WLUP throws ONE HELL OF A PARTY!!

Friday, April 7th - Late Night Show review Zambonies, Forest Park, Illinois:

Once we were done with the WLUP broadcast, we packed the trucks and went home to try and sleep (never happens though) and then we took the stage around 11pm to another packed house. (Thanks to Johnny G from WLUP for introducing us!! - we owe you a cold one!!!)  From the first seering notes of Live Wire to the last note of Let There Be Rock, Problem Child was right on their musical game plan and never once looked back.  New tune show highlights included 'She's Got Balls'.   A great club and a great crowd.  We look forward to appearing here again soon.

Saturday, May 6, HotShots, Warrenville, Illinois Show Review:

A GREAT CROWD full of Rockers wanting that classic ACDC sound and the band disappoint.  A solid rock and roll showing for Problem Child.  Angus Z never sounded better!!!  Eddy-O even signed autographs for those crazy and cute female Problem Child fans, as well did the rest of the band..  Whodathunkit??    We will be back!!

Saturday, May 20th, Nite Cap Lounge Room, Chicago, Show Review:

A very late show start for the band (a little after midnite) but the wait was worth it.  The band came out a gave a rock and roll punch to the leather clad crowd and the rest of the nite was pure metal mayhem.  Performing such hits as Sin City and Highway to Hell, the crowd had a blast as did the band.  Upon the show conclusion the crowd kept yelling 1 more - maybe next time as you northsiders really throw one hell of a party!!  We will return!!

Friday, June 23rd, Heritage Fest , Downers Grove, Illinois, Show Review:

W-O-W - A GREAT SHOW and A GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL!!  An earlier start than usual (630pm - nice change to start a show before the moon has risen) brought the boys to the beer garden at Heritage Festival and Problem Child didn't disappoint those friends and fans who came out to see Live Rock and Roll @ It's Finest.  Time constraints and contractual obligations only allowed the band to play 1 set - but what a 90 minute set it was - The crowd was really into it and that just fueled the band to a perfect set of Bon Scott classic tunes.  PROBLEM CHILD would like to thank Ray Tulley for sponsoring us and also Adam, the stage manager for all his help and cooperation in making this one of our best shows of the year.  We DEFINITELY LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING TO DOWNERS GROVE FOR NEXT YEAR'S FEST!!  ROCK ON DOWNERS GROVE AND WE'LL SEE YA SOON!!!!!!  Next up as of this writing - The Renegade Pigs along the Illinois / Indiana border!!! (get your motor running......)

Perfect weather, great food, gorgeous women in leather, lotsa Harleys and Problem Child.  A solid show for the band who played their entire musical catalog for those loyal fans and club members who came out to support the medical needs of Arlington Heights Police Officer Tim Sheehan.  These guys really like to rock and we, in Problem Child, look forward to working with them again (thanks Paul!!!).  The Chicago Police Department's Drum and Bagpipe Corp also appeared at this benefit and (as always) sounded FANTASTIC!!...  next up for the band - a private corporate gig....

A really cool place to play.  Surrounded on all sides by downtown Bloomingdale (ala Mayberry) and inside a band shell, Problem Child strutted their collective stuff at a party to celebrate Skip's birthday (the owner of festing.com).  Lotsa great food, Rock and Roll and fans made this a great time for all.  Next up - - Famous Freddie's Roadhouse in Mount Prospect on September 8th....

Friday, September 8th, Famous Freddies Roadhouse, Mount Prospect, show review:

EXCELLENT CLUB (great sight lines) - PROBLEM CHILD took the stage around 930pm to a packed house, played the first few bars of the first song (Live Wire) and never once looked back.  The SRO crowd was treated to a blistering evening of high voltage (another great tune played) rock and roll including some new tunes (such as Show Business) and the evening concluded with an encore of The Jack (as sung by our version of Angus - Stevie Z.).  Encores would have been more and longer but alas - it was almost 2am by the time the first encore ended (maybe next time!!).  We, in PROBLEM CHILD, want to take the opportunity to thank Tom and Rob of Famous Freddies, as well as, the house sound tech - Michael, for all their hard work in making this a rock and roll night to remember.  We also want to take a minute and thank those ladies who were out strutting their stuff on the dance floor (girls DO got rhythm ya know!!).  We look forward to returning to this club soon!!!.... Saturday, September 8th, Saint Jude Hospital Benefit Show Review:

The band traveled to Peoria this past Saturday to do a benefit show for the Saint Jude Hospital and Research Center and rocked the house.  Although the crowds were sparser than in years past the band did not disappoint.  Opening with 'Live Wire' and with 'Rock and Roll Damnation' as their first encore - The show was a solid performance by the band.  Matt Donegan, our drummer, was solid and kept the beat steady for the blistering lead guitar work of our Angus (Stevie Z).  Problem Child wishes to thank Kris (aka Squid) for all his hard work and effort in making us feel right at home (it's not often that a band gets AN ENTIRE OPERA HOUSE AS THEIR DRESSING ROOM) and Dee from Elmore Musical in providing us with top notch staging and lighting.  Problem Child would also like to than 102.3 Max FM (a rockin station in Peoria) for playing us in promoting this benefit, as well as, the commerical spots purchased for this event by Kris.  We sincerely look forward to traveling downstate again soon.

Saturday, October 6th, Groucho's Show Review:

The band trekked to the North Side of Chicago on a Thursday Night to check out this club and although it took a while to get there (always seems to be raining when we travel) - the club didn't disappoint.  Although a smalled room than the band's used to playing - it was intimate and pretty cool.  The band would like to thank the owner - Mark K., as well as, the house sound man for all their work in assisting us with our sound needs.

A rabid crowd of rockers was on hand to see the boys on a triple bill with Lights Out Chicago and Kings of the Night World and Problem Child didn't disappoint.  Searing solos by our Angus Z in conjunction with a pounding and tight rythym section brought the crowd to its feet.  A great club in a great location and Problem Child looks forward to returning here again soon.  The band would like to thank the staff @ Tailgaters for all their hard work in making this one of the best gigs of 2010.

Saturday, July 11th, Sullivans Irish Pub Show Review....

A standing room only crowd greeted the boys who took the stage and proceeded to rock the haus.  Many old "problem children" were on hand (including original band members Eddy O and Don) to see the debut of our new lead singer and Bon Scott, Dave Richardson -  AND HE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT taking the reins and leading the band thru a blistering set that left the fans wanting more.  Especially well received and with great audience participation was their version of "The Jack" - a song that was long overdue in being added to their set list.  Following their closing signature song "Let There Be Rock"and to a cheering crowd Lights Out Chicago! took the stage with reckless abandon delivering a perfect set of UFO show stoppers.  Following them was Maiden Chicago - the best damn Iron Maiden Tribute anywhere who delivered a solid set of Iron Mainden classic tunes.  All in all a great night for Problem Child.  The band would like to especially thank Joe from Lights Out Chicago for all his hard work in getting this gig put together.  We'd also like to thank Joey Demarco for giving us the opportunity to show that we can still deliver a Rock and Roll Show worthy of a high caliber club like Sullivans Irish Pub and we look forward to working with you on future endeavours SOON..  Also a great thank you to Lights Out Chicago and Maiden Chicago for making this truly a "Night to Remember" for all.  Also on the thank you list is Mike the sound technician who, at the last minute, somehow made it work for all the bands involved in this event. Problem Child also thanks the Management and staff at the club for all their collective hard work but MOST OF ALL AND  ESPECIALLY -  YOU - OUR FANS WHO MADE THE TREK TO SEE US AND WHO HAVE MADE IT FUN FOR US.  (a rock and roll shoutout to Thor, JoeyG, Bobby, Tina, Brian, Nancy, Lisa and Norm also!).
