Join
both Dictionary.com and MerriamWebster.com's "word of the day." Each day you will receive an email containing the word of
the day.
Each day a student will present the previous day's words. Each presenter
will write the words on the board, including part of speech, give us the etymology (word origin) of each word and provide
us with four example sentences incorporating these words (two sentences for each word). You will hand in the word definition,
etymology and your sentences at the end of your presentation. Any student presenting after a weekend or a school break must
simply choose two words from the multiple choices.
