Where can mystery fans obtain free pencils, minibooks, t-shirts, and other goodies -- and writers in the field discover good ideas for publicising their work? Haven't got a clue? The answer is from the increasing number of authors in the genre who provide readers with freebies. It's well worth checking websites for giveaways. Some are downloadable, with others available upon request or at most for an sae. We've assembled a list of freebies right here. Remember, though, good things don't last forever, so don't be disappointed if an offer has expired. (Authors please let us know if you have a new freebie or are out of an old one)

HISTORICAL MYSTERY STORIES ONLINE Kris Swank, librarian, maintains a webpage of links to online historical mystery fiction. These are mostly by modern authors, such as Lynda S.
