Welcome to my page containing pictures of our car crash on Memorial Day Weekend. Our car, a 1998 Ford Contour SE, was involved in a high speed head-on impact on the I-101. We were cruising on the southbound lanes of the 101 when a blue station wagon from the northbound lanes lost control, flew into our side of the road and hit us! I am glad to say there were no fatalities or even serious injuries on our side. What might have triggered the start of the accident is unknown, but we do know that, this blue station wagon came flying into the south bound 101 lanes from the north bound 101 lane after making a sudden 90 degree turn towards the center grass divider. On hitting the ditch in the center, the car flipped over and tumbled into our car. Had we not braked enough to slow us down, it could have been worse! What can I say... I love good ol' American Engineering!
