Life is good!
Two great kids, a loving wife, and a home in the temperate and interesting Silicon Valley. Good friends and workmates.
My current job is writing training materials for Hitachi Data Systems. We make huge computer storage devices, like the hard drive in your PC but... well, huge.
Until 2003, I worked at Cylink Corp. We produced network encryption hardware until the company was bought and gutted. My previous jobs included Chromatic Research, and Ames Research Center/NASA, Wind Tunnels to the World.

Try web software developer/writer/philosopher Dave Winer for an intelligent, if opinionated view on technology and the world. He writes one of the longest running weblogs and evangelizes for the blogosphere.
For some great, local acoustic music, the Espresso Garden and Cafeis passed to that great hootenany in the sky. Their web site still has referals to show with artists who have not been sucked into boring mainstream of the big-five record companies.
