Just reading the hate mail sent to M.A.W.A.M and your responses has compelled me to call on you and your readers to end to all this hate mail thing. Never have I witnessed such venom as is contained in many of the letters you receive from readers be they men or women.

Now, there is a solution to all this ill feeling between WAM and MAWAM and it is so logical, I'd love to share it with you and your readers.

The answer is simple .... LET'S CALL A TRUCE! let's adopt the following procedures, I for one would favor the following proposition.

She doesn't want the kids to look after?
Fine, I will do that, so long as she can go earn what I earn and be happy to wash up and clean the dishes after she's home from work as I do now.

She doesn't like being the family taxi driver?
Fine, I'll do that provided I get to choose the family transport like she does, provided she pays for all running costs etc. as I do.

She doesn't care to clean the house?
Fine, I'm happy to supervise the cleaning lady the same way she does, I'll even agree to deferring my tennis game till the cleaner is finished provided my wife pays for it as I do.

She hates to cook?
I LOVE to cook! I'd be happy for the opportunity to eat healthy any time, beats that awful fast food to go thing I have to put up with! Oh I would expect her to treat me to the occasional candle lit dinner since I'd be saving the money we spend on take away food.

She hates Diet Food?
I won't have to worry since I'll be waaaaay too busy to hang around long enough to grow arse.

Can she be heard complaining about men who expect to be kept?
I agree! who the fuck says because I'm at home keeping the house clean, raising children, cooking, being taxi driver, playing tennis that I am entitled to find instant retirement the day my wife has her first baby? I expect to have to work at raising the kids and all of the above, so long as she keeps me in the way to which I would become accustomed AS SHE DOES!

YES WAM's! I would gladly stop work and find retirement as YOU do, only I'll never bite the hand that feeds me and I promise that my headaches will never ever get in the way of loving you as I should. Since you would be the provider, I vow to place you as my No. 1 and after you die prematurely, I promise never to give up what you have provided for our kids to the new lady, I will expect her to provide for your kids.
