A Little About Me
(not that you really care)

Hi! My name is Maureen but everyone calls me Mo. I live (and grew up) in the Bronx.

From the time I was a child I was a "tom-boy" and loved being active but my outdoor experiences were limited to concrete realms. In the past few years I began doing a host of new and different things.

I went camping for the first time. (I had never been camping, even when it meant going away for the weekend with your friends on a drinking fest.) I hiked into a dormant volcano on Maui. I went sea kayaking to watch whales.

Anyway, I started to really enjoy the outdoor stuff and have always liked challenges.

I got my hands on an Outward Bound catalog and was determined to do one of the excursions. Boy, did I ever pick one!
