Fleeces for Sale

All of the fleeces have been coated from shearing to shearing. They are free of vegetation unless otherwise noted. They are prepared for sale as though they are going to be shown and most of them will be. All have a good spinnable length and are exceptionally clean. The price listed is for the whole fleece. Due to the fact that these sheep are raising lambs each year, they are more stressed than animals that are not used for production. This causes many of the fleeces to be more tender and being fine fleeces is another factor. As such it needs to be noted that many commercial pickers will destroy this kind of fleece. My best results have come from hand picking before sending it through a carder. While this is time consuming, it is well worth it to save a beautiful fleece. Limited samples of selected fleeces are available. Shipping is extra.
