Fiber
We have a variety of fleece carded into roving. Your spinning experience will dictate what we
suggest. You may select from white, natural colors, dyed or blended fiber. We have a
selection of fiber types as may be seen in our list of fleeces. This has been carefully
washed and carded. We also stock some commercially prepared fiber. We are the sole supplier
of the new "Rainbow Roving". This is done through a process created here on the farm and not
duplicated by any other supplier at this point. It has been very popular with the hand spinners
and makes up into beautiful variegated yarn. Our roving is priced from $1.25 to $3.00 per
ounce depending upon content. Besides wool we also supply cotton, silk, angora,
llama, alpaca and many other
natural and synthetic fibers for spinners. We carry Blue Moon Custom Spun Yarn as well as many
commercial brands.
Dye lots on our Rainbow Roving cannot be matched so when ordering, it is best
to indicate the color range you that you would like. Each color
combination is numbered and we will do our best to satisfy your taste.
