All about Matt GagliotiBorn and raised in New Jersey, Matt spent most of his life dreaming of coming to Hollywood and making movies. At first Matt wanted to be an actor but turned his sites behind the camera in high school.
Matt attended the University of Bridgeport for one year, majoring in Cinema, then transferred to Bergen Community College where he received an Associate of Applied Sciences degree with a concentration in Communications.
In 1992, Matt formed NRK Productions with a group of friends from college. They produced a handful of short film projects, but had little success. Matt later transitioned the company into a production support firm, providing pivotal support for production companies by hiring freelancers to fill various crew positions.
Over the next 7 years, Matt worked on a wide variety of productions ranging from weddings to corporate videos to television shows to independent films.
In 1999, Matt was hired by JVC America as a product specialist. While he had put aside his film career, Matt never lost sight of his dream of coming to California, which he finally realized in 2002.
In December of 2003, he was laid off from JVC, so he decided to resurrect his original dream of filmmaking. He began taking classes at Orange Coast College in order to update his skills and re-familiarize himself with the filmmaking process.
Since 2004 Matt has been working steadily doing editing, camera, directing, technical directing, location sound and playback. Matt has also managed to land some small acting roles and continues to pursue acting as a hobby.
