Clubfoot Research

bar.gif

We are currently localizing and identifying the gene(s) responsible for Clubfoot. In order to find the gene(s) we are seeking out families with two or more members who have Clubfoot. These families are invited to participate in our study by providing a small DNA sample. Such families are welcome to participate in our study by contacting myself, or my Research Coordinator, Carey Corley, RN, BSN.
We are also seeking out individuals who had clubfoot surgery atleast twenty years ago for a long-term follow up study. This study requires the participants to fill out 3 questionnaires, participate in an assessment of their feet and have x-rays taken of both feet. If you are an individual who meets to afore mentioned criteria, please contact either myself or my Research Coordinator, Carey Corley, RN, BSN.
