12 volt plugs on both sides of the area between the front seats.   The drivers side has a multiplug (one 12 volt plug that has three plugs that you can switch on and off) that plugs into it that we use to control the overhead fans.   A 12 volt plug is also mounted in the vent for the refrigerator.  It's handy for extra fans, personal audio equipment, lights, etc.

Our GE 5000 btu 110 volt window air conditioner was purchased at Wal-Mart for about $90.   We cut a piece of white 1/16 inch paneling a little larger than the screen window opening.   Then we cut a hole in the center of it to allow the AC unit to barely fit through it.   We made a small "stool" that the AC unit sits on, which is made from 3/4 inch
conduit, 5/8 inch plywood, and aluminum strapping.   Rubber tips were placed on the ends of the legs to prevent slippage and scratches.   When making the stand for the AC unit it is important to angle the unit away from the interior of the van, unless you want a nice waterfall in your van on hot, humid days (no, we didn't make that mistake).   Since this arrangement isn't rainproof on wild Florida summer days, we made a rainfly from waterproof nylon backpack/tent material purchased through Campmor.com .   We
attached the same material to the outside of the paneling and let it overlap the bottom of the screen window so that any rain that came in on the side would run down the outside of the poptop.

The "stool" that holds our AC unit.   Notice the notches in the front of the plywood, these are for the small metal legs on the bottom of the AC unit to fit into so it doesn't slide around and fits the same way every time.

Our rainfly covers the top and overlaps slightly on the back and sides of the AC unit.   You don't want to totally enclose it because these things kick out a lot of heat when they are on.   It would just trap the heat and heat your van (defeating the purpose of the whole thing).   We used a bungee cord to hold the back of the AC unit down so it wouldn't accidentally tip into the van when we weren't expecting it.
