OXO Reference Sires

Motion 88T 2W 2656 Lbs. Primarily Canadian bloodlines out of a 1/2 Line 1 dam. We used this bull for 4 years and have many daughters in the herd. As a calf, "Motion" was Reserve Calf Champion at the 1987 Canadian Agribition, the same year his sire, "Merit" was selected Sr Champion and Reserve Grand Bull. Actual weaning weight, 860 lbs. 9100 Lad 2019 4ET 2850 Lbs. Royally bred. His sire was champion bull calf at Denver 1991 and then Senior Yearling Champion in 1992. His dam was Reserve Grand Denver female in 1992. His calves are terrific. OXO exhibited his first place get of sire at both the 1996 Western Nugget and 1997 Arizona National shows. We lost this bull early and only have AI service remaining. His full sister is one of the very best flush cows in the Perks Herd at Rockford, IL.Pic

HH Advance 455D Purchased at Holden's, Valier, Mt. out of HH Advance 185A. His dam, HH Miss Advance 934Y goes back to HH Advance 7005W. Straight Line 1 breeding from the one of the best. A lot of bidders at Holden's sale were interested in this bull. Very thick and meaty, as well as smooth and trim in the front end. We lost this sire in 1999. LS Mark Dom 403 1ET Another Lone Star sire, a son of their Star Domino 288 bull. A great female producer. His grandsire was "Lerch" and his dam was Lone Star Markette, a really top producing cow at Lone Star going back to SR Mark Don K87. We are using AI service to this bull as we lost him after only 2 years of natural service. A thick meaty bull that was very trim and correct.
LV Vegas Pacer 4115 A son of Pacesetter that has proven a great female producer. Lots of milk and nearly all the show calves have a "Pacer" in their dam's side. Some of our best producing cows in the herd go back to this powerful sire. Reference Sire Only.
OXO L1 Mark 613 Used on first calf heifers, this bull's females have remained in our herd by their excellent genetic production. Sired by 403H and going back to Scott Holden's SH Advancer 137 on the dam's side. Reference sire.
R1 Knight 8007 A polled son of Knight Ryder out of a top producing horned Line 1 cow of Ted R Cooper. An excellent thick polled son "1328" is one of our current cleanup bulls. We get a lot of polled calves as well as horned. He carried strong poll genetics in his progeny. Reference sire.
