New Communications Tool in September!
Brethren, our lodge has advanced significantly
over the past 2 years to improve communications. With noted success using e-mail and our award winning website with
now over 5,300 hits!! In September, we will start using a new technology called Phonevite. Phonevite will allow
a lodge officer record one message and automatically deliver it at a scheduled time to the membership's home phone.
Primarily, it will be used as a reminder about a meeting, but it will be incredibly useful in the event of a sudden emergency
or if their is a Masonic funeral. We will as always send the Trestleboard meeting notice via email or mail. Phonevite
will be a helpful reminder starting in September.
Phonevite Starts in September!

We have greatly improved our communications and lowered our Lodge mailing expenses through this action. If you
are a Brother of Barboursville Lodge No. 112, please submit your e-mail address to the Lodge Secretary/Webmaster at masonic112@earthlink.net. Your address will be verified and added upon receipt!

Looks like someone is working hard for our lodge. I heard a rumor that the room will be ready by July! Check out
the great progress. I think Brother Bryant deserves a great big applause and thank you!!!

***Lodge Landscaping
Project Complete! Wow! Our exterior Lodge and parking area have been greatly enhanced by 28 new trees & shrubs.
The landscape was designed to give the Lodge better curb appeal, better community image by streetscaping and provide
a buffer for the new flagpole. The design is all based on Freemasonry! Ask Brother Engleman for how the design
applies to our craft. PLEASE be careful when pulling in and out of the parking lot. "Brother
George Washington would not like one of his new Cherry trees run over!":-)

### Lodge
website receives it's second Masonic award in 2007! The "La Fraternite' Award" was bestowed to our website
without the usual application process. This award has more stringent critertia than others. It requires certain
Masonic content, resource links, smooth navigation tools and dynamic design concepts. The award was presented on April
20, 2007. Webmaster Brother Engleman acknowledged the award was another step towards our Lodge advancing itself in the
community and connecting to our Brethren.
