Mary Elizabeth Thompson is a writer and artist who lives in Northern Virginia. Originally from Arkansas, she has traveled in Europe and throughout the United States with her husband of 23 years and their three children.
Her fiction, poetry, and art has appeared online, in print, and in local exhibitions. She has taught literacy and creative writing, worked as a freelance book editor, an editor of newsletters and websites, and been involved with several literary magazines. She is active in local art and writing programs as well as humanist groups.
