I loved how the characters kept on reappearing in the next books and the adventures they got into. I love the way
you write! I am looking forward to your next book! - Rebekah

PIRATE PASTA
An Award-Winning Recipe from Max Nania - COOKING WITH
MAX!
Pirate Pasta (Golden carrot coins! Pea pearls! Arggg! It is
good, mateys!
Ingredients & Utensils:
1 package of frozen cheese mini-raviolis 1 cup frozen peas 4 big or 2 cups carrots cut into circles or frozen
carrot coins steamed or cooked until tender 4 tablespoons of veggie lemon butter (see below) fresh basil rosemary 1
large pot
Directions:
Put peas (and carrots, too, if they're frozen) in the pot and have an adult put it on the stove and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, have your grown-up helper add the pasta and cook as directed. Drain and dump into a bowl. Once your grown-up
helper has done that, you can mix in all the rest of the ingredients and serve. Mom's Tip: Try adding parmesan cheese
and ruby red tomatoes.
Suggested reading: Jack Sparrow: The Siren Song by Rob Kidd. This is a chapter book that Max loved, or Pirate
Pup by Caroline Stutson and Robert Rayevsky (or any good pirate tale!)
