Every group member will be conducting research on the Internet and contributing to planning, writing, and editing your projects. You will use the following skills: Staying on task and taking responsibility; working together to compromise and reach agreement; and writing and paraphrasing.

Each group member will also have one of the following roles to facilitate use of these skills:

Time Keeper/Taskmaster: It is your job to lead your group to meet your goals every day (Your group decided on your daily goals on the Timeline for Completion). Meeting your goals daily will allow you to complete your projects on time. You must keep your group on task. If anyone is chatting or distracted it is your responsibility to respectfully redirect him or her to get back to the project.

Consensus Seeker/Encourager: Your job is to make sure that everyone in your group reaches agreement (consensus) and has the opportunity to participate and contribute. You must keep the peace and give positive comments to everyone each day.

Paraphraser/Editor: It is your responsibility to make sure that your group's writing is in your own words (paraphrased) and that all references are cited in your project. You also are in charge of final editing of the projects.

You will be evaluated by your classmates in your group when the projects are completed. See the evaluation by clicking here.
