But, like two one-and-a-half legged people who when joined form a perfectly normal three-legged person, we've done our best work together. As Seat of Our Pants Productions, some projects include:
- "All About Love,"
a musical based on Plato's "Symposium" (This is not
as bizarre as it sounds, since the "Symposium" is basically
a bunch of guys talking about love, and this adaptation merely
has them, in addition, singing and dancing about love.) The show
has been produced, and a CD of the soundtrack is available.
- "Maynard Dines In," a fluffy farce - winner of the Jewel Box Theater's 2000 New Play competition, and premiered July 2002 by the Maverick Players in Midland, Texas. "Maynard" had its second production January 22-31, 2004 at the Manitou Art Theatre. Read the review here.
- Three one-act plays: "Failing Consumption," "The Cafeteria," and "YourArmy."
- "Pike's Dream," a one-act opera based on the life of Zebulon Pike
- "Iron & Gold,"
a dramatic musical about railroads, robber barons, and labor
in 19th century America. This show is not yet finished, though
the first (and longest) scene has been produced.
- A cartoon, and a Y2K
Calendar that turned out not to be prophetic. (Fortunately!)
