Emil von Sauer: Discography

No student of Liszt has had his recordings reissued more comprehensively or more intelligently than von Sauer. Marston reissued all then-known studio recordings (though two additional Regal records have since resurfaced); Arbiter has reissued all known broadcast and live recordings. The dedicated collector will nevertheless pick up Pearl GEMM CDS 9972 and CD 9993 for the other Liszt student recordings they contain.

The Regal and Vox recordings are acoustic. The remainder of von Sauer's recordings are electric.
