John received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Drake University and currently teaches music and drama. Some of his favorite roles include Baker in Into the Woods, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Ed in Torch Song Trilogy, Sparky in Forever Plaid, Jud Fry in Oklahoma! and the hero at the Iron Springs Chateau Melodrama. John also enjoys playing piano, tennis, and his dog, Stanzi. Top

Melvin has worked with Theatreworks since 1976, in such roles as Troy in August Wilson's Fences, the Old Shepherd in The Winter's Tale, Lancelot Gabo in The Merchant of Venice, Juliet's father in Romeo and Juliet, and Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing. "The role of Socrates has been both enjoyable and challenging. The character is complex and I'm used to more comedic, lighter characters." When not acting, Mr. Grier is a clinical social worker in private practice, freelance cartoonist, and motorcyclist. "I want to acknowledge my son, Gabriel, who remains my greatest inspiration and motivation, and 'BOO,' my partner of 17 years." Top
Richard has been acting, singing, and dancing on Springs stages for over 12 years. At the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Richard played Woody in Finian's Rainbow, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, the Beadle in Sweeney Todd, and Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods. You may also have seen Richard as one of the original players at McKenna's Dinner Theatre and Pikes Peak Center's In the Mood. He was Schroeder in the Pikes Peak Community College Masquers' production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Paul in their recent production of Company. Ricky appeared in Theatreworks' 1997 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and is delighted to be in his first musical. In the past, he has worked with Betty Ross designing glitzy costumes for The Mystery Plays. Besides his passion for theater, Ricky coordinates weddings, teaches violin, and is a private consultant for interior design. Ricky gets his energy and love from his parents who have supported him in all his endeavors. Top
After 12 years of seeking her fortune in the real world, Jana has returned to her hometown. She made her debut on the Colorado Springs stage with Theatreworks. In her time away from home, Jana has been active as an actress, musician, director and choreographer in the Denver/Boulder area. Among her diverse roles were Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice, Lady Percy in Henry IV, Part One, Liz in Saved, and Laurel in Torch Song Trilogy. She thanks her parents for all their support and free laundry facilities. Top
This is Charles' first role with Theatreworks. Active on concert, opera, and musical theater stages, Charles appears regularly with the Colorado Springs Symphony, Colorado Opera Festival, and Fine Arts Center and as soloist with several regional performance organizations. He has appeared in local productions of Turandot, Noyye's Fludde, Dido & Aeneas, as well as numerous musical theater roles. Top
Prior to All About Love, Jack was in the chorus of Carmen at the Pikes Peak Center with the Colorado Opera Festival. Jack's previous work includes several ballets, opera and musical theater productions, and industrial films for US West. Jack majored in Theater at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Following a stint as dancer/actor in Disney World, he currently lives in New York City. Top
Before moving to America, David lived in England where he acted, played, and danced in the Renaissance ensemble Mickie Musike. Since being in Colorado Springs, he has played in the Colorado College Collegium, with members of the Colorado Springs Symphony in Noah's Fiddle, and in the flute and guitar duet Duo Rococco. In 1986, with the inspiration of Bob Tudor, David developed Dr. Sound, who now tours local schools under the auspices of the Performing Arts for Youth Organization (PAYO). IN 1995, he sang in the Colorado College production Kabarett and, in 1997, made his Theatreworks debut as Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream. and as Hastings in She Stoops to Conquer. Mr. Wild has studied with Gabrielle Roth, Emily Conrad Da'oud, Jim Malcolm, and Judith Chaffee. He has studied, played, and been in wonder with and of his wife Pat Peret Wild. The "he" and the "she" celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on the opening night of All About Love. Top
