Alfred Pennyworth
Alfred
Pennyworth is the loyal butler of Wayne Manor. He's been with the Wayne
family for two generations and helped raise Dick at a time when Bruce
could
not always be a father. Dick is very devoted to his long time friend.
Arsenal
Originally
known as Speedy, the sidekick of the first Green Arrow, Oliver Queen,
Roy
Harper is a top notch archer with a rebellious nature. Roy fell into
drug
addiction during his time with Green Arrow but has since kicked it and
turned his life around. He is a founding member of The Titans.
Azrael
Jean
Paul Valley, the former assassin of the Order of St. Dumas, was asked
to
fill in as Batman when Bruce Wayne's back was broken. This alone would
have bothered Dick since he felt that he should have been asked first,
but since Azrael's tenure as Batman was questionable at best, Dick has
always been a little uncomfortable with supporting Azrael. The two have
managed to form a respectable alliance, however. Azrael is currently
believed to be dead.
Batman
Dick's
mentor and the closest thing he's had to a father figure since his
parents
died, Bruce Wayne gave him a new lease on life by training Dick to be
his
partner, Robin. The two have not always agreed on things, but Dick
would
do anything for Bruce.
The Flash
Wally
West is the fastest man alive. He is the third person to carry the
mantle
of The Flash and once his mentor died, Wally became the first to
fulfill
the promise of the sidekick, graduating from being Kid Flash to The
Flash.
Dick was best man at Wally's wedding. Wally is also a founding Titan
and
he and Dick have been close friends for many years.
Huntress
The
Huntress makes her own rules in Gotham and those rules often conflict
with
Batman's. Dick has recently found himself caught in the middle of these
two because of his attraction, and a night of indiscretion, with her.
He
has since, however, broken things off with her as he found himself
unable
to condone her harsher version of justice.
Oracle
Barabra
Gordon was the original Batgirl and often worked with Dick, who had a
huge
crush on her, when he was Robin. She was shot and paralyzed by The
Joker
and she now fights crime as Oracle, a reservior of knowlege and
information
who assists the Batman team as well as the JLA. Dick and Barabra are
developing
a romantic relationship and Dick has proposed to her.
Jesse Quick
The
daughter of speedster Johnny Quick, Jesse speaks a mathematical
formula,
"3x2(9yz)4a", that helps her visualize a way of unlocking access to the
Speed Force, the source of her speed. Jesse is the president of Quick
Start
Enterprises but is always available to help out. She's a member of the
current Titans roster and has become something of an apprentice of
Dick's.
She also seems to have developed a somewhat shy crush on him.
Robin
Tim
Drake could be Dick's younger brother, they're a lot alike. Tim, the
third
Robin, and Dick have a natural chemistry and affinity for each other.
Dick
has participated in much of Tim's training and takes a big brother role
in his life as well.
Superman
After
Batman, Superman is Dick's greatest influence. Ever since he was a boy,
Dick has looked on Superman in much the same way that the world does;
in
awe.
Tempest
Formerly
Aqualad and the sidekick of Aquaman, Garth has struck out on his own,
developing
some of the temperment of his aristocratic mentor, but always retaining
a big heart.
Troia
Donna
Troy, the former Wonder Girl and sidekick to Wonder Woman, has had a
troubled
life, having recently lost her husband and child. Of the founding
members
of The Titans, Dick is closest to Wally and Donna, with whom he shares
a wordless bond.
