Thanks for choosing to explore my abstract geometric creations.
As with my other abstract works, I have completed the paintings using high-texture,
brillantly-colored acrylic paints. These works are executed on double-gessoed masonite. The gesso is applied
on either the web texture side created during the manufacture of the masonite, or on the pre-sanded smooth side of the masonite.
If I used the pre-sanded side, I imparted a linen texture to the masonite.
The abstract geometric works shown here are for the most part improvisational,
much as are my non-geometric abstracts. However, using just a few basic geometric shapes, I have attempted to create a
greater creation through the interaction of the shapes.
The results are noted as suggestive of stained glass. This is
all the more accentuated through the use of brillant jewel-tone colors, with sharp contrasting color gradients.
There are many additional works to be shown here. I'm just a bit busy right now. If you like something
you see, don't steal it, buy it.... the pieces are priced very reasonably. I don't make prints currently... so, you will own
the original and no one else.... Many of my patrons appreciate this aspect of my thoughts on art. They like owning the original.
All of my works are catelogued and photo-documented (some better than others as I teach myself to
market my work)
