 Hi everybody, 
 As you may or may not know, on June 1st I leave for 
Europe. I have set up this "mailing list" of sorts to keep 
 in touch with my friends and family (that's you!) while I'm 
exploring Europe. 

Through the internet I've been able to find listings for 
establishments called "cyber cafes." These are places 
that typically serve the usual cafe fare AND have 
computers set up for patrons to "surf the net" and 
check & send e-mail. I have set up this e-mail address 
to be the one I check on a regular basis. AOL, 
unfortunately, does not make it easy for travelers to 
check their e-mail. With this service I can check my 
mail by going to the company's web page and 
putting in my password. It seems to work very well. 

I can't promise these reports will be regular. Businesses 
close and move with alarming frequency. I will answer 
every note you send as soon as I possibly can (and it 
won't be a silly form letter like this). 

If you don't want to get reports back from my trip, now 
would be a good time to tell me. 

Could you also do me one favor...let me know how this 
mailing went. If you don't know who I am then there is a 
great possibility that I sent this to the wrong e-mail address. 
Please correct me, stranger.

Day trip to Vlad the Impaler's (Dracula) grave June 27
