2004 Pictures of the Old Gurdon High School!
The Buildings May be Fading Away
But the Memories of Those Happy Days
Will Never Die!

The new Gurdon school complex was long overdue
and is a fantastic facility. But it is still
sorrowful to lose an old friend like
the Gurdon High School of our day!)

The gymn is gone. The buildings are falling in.
The bus lanes are still slightly visible.
Lots of good times and great memories.

The old auditorium
with broken windows
reflects the sadness
I felt when driving by
during May of this year.

A view of the old
football field through
the fence near where
Arnie's store once stood.

End Zone view of the old
football field from
behind where the score
board once stood.

The Gurdon High School
sign no longer carries
announcements of school
events. But I can remember
many of the announcements
from our time in the sun
at Gurdon High School.
