This story centers
around a celebration of the life of Vals ex, Arthur, as
he suffers through the late stages of AIDS. The intent
for this story is to eventually put it into play form, with a
set of scenes centering around Marc as he tries to understand
the dynamic of Ron, Val, and Arthurs relationship via the
ways that their others friends explain it to him.
Look what
I found, said one of Arts friends, holding up a videotape.
I seem to recall you looking for this for years.
Camelot! said Art.
Camelot! repeated Val.
Camelot! said someone
else.
Its just a videotape,
I said.
As I passed
through the room, I heard snippets of conversation. Never
share the stage with kids or animals, one guy was saying.
I have a friend in Chicago
a stripper who says that statement isnt complete,
said another. Never share the stage with kids,
animals, or a bodybuilder who can perform auto-fellatio.
